This is a photo of one of my favourite places in the South of France and somewhere I hope to visit again this year. When I went there several years ago you could walk right along the top, which as the stones are a bit crumbly was rather scary. I don't think you are allowed to walk up there any more which is very sensible from a conservation and safety point of view. I will be taking my grandson who is mad on anything related to Romans and I hope he will be as impressed as I was that something so old can survive so long.

Jumping in
Thank goodness you are never too old to learn. In fact learning as you get older is one way to keep the brain exercised. I think it is such fun to learn something new and this blogging idea is also very creative. Even though my motivation is too keep up with the development of this new way of communicating it is fun to actually get to publish something out there for everyone else to see. Even if it is nothing too profound to start off with I am jumping into the pond.
